Rub Trial January 13, 2018 Reviewer: Rich Cannon from DeForest, WI United States   I normally use my own homemade rub.  I am a KCBS Master BBQ Judge.  I've tasted many rubs through the years.  I purchased another rub with this order that I haven't tried.  A few days ago I smoked a full spare rib slab and applied the General.  My wife and I really liked how the ribs turned out with the General.  We apply the sauce as we taste the cooked ribs with the rub.  Great rub!!  I'm going to use this on two pork butts I'm cooking in a few weeks.  Will definitely purchase more done the road.
