Description Technical Specs

Butcher BBQ Prime Brisket Injection is a championship-level formula developed to enhance moisture, flavor, and texture in smoked brisket. Built on a beef stock base and fortified with hydrolyzed soy protein and savory spices, this injection penetrates deep into the meat to deliver bold, balanced flavor and consistent tenderness. Trusted by top pitmasters across the country, it’s a staple in turn-in boxes and backyard smokers alike.

Key Features

  • Beef Stock Base — Delivers authentic beef flavor and complements natural brisket profile
  • Moisture Retention — Hydrolyzed soy protein helps lock in juices during long cooks
  • Competition-Tested — Used by World Champion pitmasters in KCBS, IBCA, and SCA events
  • Versatile Format — Mixes easily with water, broth, or juice; compatible with all injection methods
  • Clean Label — Gluten-free; contains soy and MSG for flavor enhancement
  • Yield Efficiency — One pound makes up to one gallon of injection solution

Pro Tips

  • Mixing Ratio — Combine 1/4 cup of injection with 2 cups of liquid (water or broth); shake until fully dissolved
  • Inject Evenly — Use a grid pattern across the flat and point for consistent coverage
  • Let Rest Before Cooking — Allow brisket to rest 4–6 hours after injection for full absorption
  • Pair with Butcher BBQ Rubs — Use alongside Butcher BBQ Premium Rub or Steak & Brisket Rub for layered flavor
  • Use in Wrap Phase — Add leftover injection to foil or butcher paper during the stall to reinforce moisture
  • Try on Other Cuts — Excellent on chuck roast, beef ribs, and tri-tip for added depth and juiciness

Directions
  • Prime Injection Instructions

All taste palates are different, so adjust to your preference. We recommend starting with 3/4 cup of marinade to two (2) cups of water. You can also replace half of the water with beer, apple juice, cola, or beef broth.

    Instructions:

    1. Place your brisket on a cookie sheet with edges to catch any excess marinade.

    2. Using a checkerboard pattern, inject into every other square, keeping the needle in the center of the brisket meat.

    3. This amount should be sufficient for two thirteen (13) lb. briskets.
